This week’s post is just a couple of status updates. The first is about the backup tool I’ve discussed in previous posts:
The backup tool now has a test suite that makes me more comfortable trusting the code, and I’ve implemented the changes I’d talked about making. This actually happened a while ago, but I neglected to write about it.
I’ve also finally added a README to the repository. It’s a handy little tool, and while it’s still rough around the edges, it may actually be useful for people other than myself. Would appreciate any feedback people want to give.
The second is about Iron Blogger. Here’s what’s happened this week:
- #50 has been implemented.
- Jeff noticed his Public Lab posts weren’t being pulled in, and we worked out that the feed URL was out of date. I fixed it, and the posts have been coming in again.
-
I noticed that Jeff still wasn’t getting credit for the newly downloaded posts, and went to investigate. I discovered another bug, which I’ll fix sometime in the next few days: #54. Note that this is preventing all of the accounting from being updated, so don’t be surprised if your post for this week doesn’t get counted right away.
Of course Damien would be the one to trigger this bug…
